To celebrate this launch, BYP Legal Tech Chief Activator, Karimah Campbell, will be having a fireside talk with former Director of White House Information Governance, Kenya Parrish-Dixon, exploring her journey, experiences and insights.
Kenya Parrish-Dixon is formerly the Director of White House Information Governance for the Executive Office of the President of the United States of America where she oversaw the e-Discovery and FOIA Unit, Digital Forensics Unit, Digital Forensics Lab, Records Management Unit and Information Assurance.
At her last position, she was the Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel for Empire Technologies Risk Management Group, a cybersecurity, Information Governance, eDiscovery and Managed Review corporate holding company. To expand their reach and influence in the marketplace, Kenya moved her entire team from Empire Technologies Risk Management Group to Celerity Consulting Group where she is currently Vice President and Assistant General Counsel.
With over 12 years experience in eDiscovery and legal technology, Karimah Campbell leads the EMEA Customer Success Management team at Relativity. As well as her love for technology, Karimah has a passion for inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, with a focus on race, gender and education. Karimah has been able to drive the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Belonging agenda on an industry level in roles as the Membership Director on the inaugural board for Women in eDiscovery London; leading EY’s relationship with the Powerlist (celebrating the 100 most influential Black British people); founding Black Tech Queens and most recently becoming Chief Activator for BYP Legal Tech. All of which has led to her being featured in Computer Weekly Most Influential Women in UK Tech Longlist for 3 consecutive years and recognised as one of the top 100 BAME Leader in Tech by the Financial Times.
